Course Outcome
The 21764VIC Certificate II in Dance enables the learner to develop the knowledge and skills to participate in a variety of dance routine roles. It provides the fundamental skills in a number of specialised dance disciplines and a pathway to further education and training in the entertainment industry.
The successful completion of the 21764VIC Certificate II in Dance will enable participants to:
- source and apply dance industry knowledge
- follow health, safety and security procedures include safe dance practices
- apply basic first aid
- prepare the body and mind for performance
- explore and apply the principles of dance
- work with others
- develop and refine basic dance techniques
- apply basic dance techniques for performances

To be eligible to receive the 21764VIC Certificate II in Dance, participants must successfully complete all compulsory units as specified in the course structure.
