KERRIE POWER
Principal

While working as a professional dancer in the 80’s Kerrie found not only a love and passion for the performing arts but also an excitement for passing on her knowledge through teaching.  In 1989 this led her to achieve her goal and open IPAS.  She started in a small scout hall and 30 years later has grown the studio to have the reputation as one of Melbourne’s leading providers of training for the Entertainment Industry.

Kerrie has trained thousands of performers many of whom have careers in the Entertainment Industry, some who now teach for IPAS, others who have brought their own children back to train at IPAS, but one thing they all have in common is the joy and dedication for the arts that Kerrie has passed onto them through their time with the IPAS family.  Check out our Student Credits page to see some of the amazing achievements by IPAS students.

Kerrie holds a Certificate IV in Assessment and Training and a teaching certificate with Southern Federation of Dance.

Kerrie Power has truly shaped me into the performer I am today. Kerrie is an unbelievable talent and inspiring person who I had an absolute pleasure of working and learning so much from. I couldn’t ask for a better person to guide me through my dancing years. I cannot thank her enough for her support, guidance and positivity.
