Isolation Performing Arts Studio was established in 1989. When the studio first opened we were running in a tiny hall with 25 students and one teacher. Since then we have had the opportunity to grow with our students "our family", into the EXCITING venue it is today with many of our students having been with us for most of those years. In this time IPAS has developed to meet the needs of our families and in doing that we are now one of Melbourne’s biggest Performing Arts Studios, offering a huge variety of classes for students from 3 years to adults. Our studio has a fun family atmosphere where you are not only learning and training at the highest standard possible, but also enjoying your time spent with us. Our teaching staff are some of the best in Australia and all are specialists in their field.
Our family is very diverse with some training for fun and enjoyment while others have chosen to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. We currently have past students dancing the lead at the Moulin Rouge, Paris, performing at Universal Studios in Japan and Singapore, Disney Land, on many Cruise Ships and appearing regularly on Television and in films. We have had many students who have even grown and brought their own children back to us years later to train... we really are a family!
Since 1989 we have run classes for in all styles of dance, singing and acting and are always looking at new areas for our students to expand their skills and knowledge.
In 2006 Isolation began to offer Fully Government Accredited Registered Training and since that time we have been offering VET Dance in the VCE to our students. We are so proud of these students and over the past 4 years we have trained VCE students in years 10, 11 and 12 for their exams and had 8 Perfect Study Scores and 8 Premiers Awards!
Our home incorporates 4 fantastic Fully Equipped Dance Studios, Singing/Drama Room, Recording Studio, Green Room, Café and Homework room.

Studios are available for hire and we are only 5 minutes from Melbourne Airport.
